KidMin: The Navy Seals of Ministry
Kidmin are the Seal Team 6 of ministry. When it comes to front line ministry, Kidmin are there. They are the Special Ops forces of the church.
Why? Here are 10 reasons.
-
Kidmin work with LITTLE/NO RECOGNITION…and they don’t care.
-
Kidmin FEARLESSLY do what others in the church would NEVER do.
-
Kidmin are BETTER TRAINED than most other ministry workers.
-
Kidmin WORK HARDER/LONGER than others in ministry.
-
Kidmin SELFLESSLY SERVE with no thought of themselves.
-
Kidmin are all about the MISSION.
-
Kidmin can be very SNEAKY when necessary.
-
Kidmin HELP OTHER KIDMIN who have fallen.
-
Kidmin ADJUST FAST when plans fall apart.
-
Kidmin are more RESOURCEFUL than others in ministry.
And if you disagree with this, they don’t care. Kidmin understand the gravity of what they do. They are secure. They’re just like that. They are Kidmin.

Love it!!!
Every bit of that is true. annnd if you are in kidmin and don’t agree then you need to go to big church. We have team work and never think about who is the greatest. We know it is Jesus and thats all that matters. keep up the good work, Kidz blitz
You guys are amazing….well said …every bit true and even though we don’t care most of the time…it’s nice to hear it said anyhow :0)
Having served in the United States Marine Corps and over 25 years as a Kidmin – This is very well put! Keep it up!
Thank you all for your kind words.
Thank you! Encouragement just when needed!
Agreed.
I just googled Navy SEAL, and this is what came up. That’s an awesome picture. Did anyone else notice that the SEAL on the right is wielding a shotgun? Those guys are awesome … I mean, come on, a shotgun? Who but a SEAL would go into battle with that haha.
Nice job on the ministry analogy, too.
Awesome! I laughed out loud when you said we are a little SNEAKY! But its true!! (I once borrowed the SPs DVD player during the service out of his office for the 2nd grade class room… but I got it back! Mission Accomplished!) LOL
