Husband. Dad. Writer. Blogger. Consultant. Social Media Junkie. Humorist. Minister. Horse Owner. Prez of Kidz Blitz Ministries. Political Prognosticator. Public Speaker. Newsaholic. Author. Lifelong Learner.

I learned life would have lots of twists and turns in a Bullwinkle costume when I was 5 years old. I was lost and trying to find my way home on a dark Halloween night. Unsure of where I was going and struggling to see through a Bullwinkle mask with my, as of yet, undiagnosed poor vision, my most vivid childhood memory was made. I didn’t realize then that much of life involves trying to figure out how to get someplace without looking silly.

Today I am a city slicker living on a horse farm trying to keep the place mowed while not stepping in something. With my hottie horsewoman wife, 4 daughters, 6 horses, chocolate lab and a cat named Bob, life is never dull.

I like chocolate. I’m fashion challenged except that I recently discovered I like things from J Crew. I rock at Dr. Mario, and I would eat at Qdoba everyday of the week if I could. I’d like to be able to slam dunk a basketball before I’m 65. With the exception of Pop Tarts, chocolate donuts, candy bars, pumpernickel bread, Jones sodas and ice cream, I try to eat right. I spend all my time writing, traveling, doing farm chores, and creating computer graphics. When I’m not travelling…well, never mind, I’m pretty much always travelling.

And I started Kidz Blitz in 1996… (what a wild ride that has been). You can read all about it in my book Jumping the Track. Click here for more info on the book that details my life, ministry and journey to Kidz Blitz.
